We’re looking for an experienced Finance & Properties Manager to join the COS team.
Please join an informational session on May 22 to learn more about this permit.
The Water Quality Control Division issued the final General Permit COR900000 for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Non-Extractive Industrial Activity on April 28, 2023. In 2021 and 2022, the division led a stakeholder engagement process to gain feedback about potential changes to the permit upon its renewal. You can access the permit and fact sheet, including the response to comments, at the division’s website.
Here are some important changes to the renewed, final permit:
· Benchmarks and corrective actions.
· PFAS requirements.
· Coal tar sealant eligibility requirement.
The division is hosting an informational meeting to help stakeholders understand the renewed permit.
Monday, May 22, 2023
1:00-3:00 p.m.
The Zoom meeting will open 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting (at 12:45 p.m.) to allow stakeholders the opportunity to get familiar with the functions of the Zoom platform beforehand.
When you register for the meeting, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions for joining the meeting and you can add it to your calendar.
During this meeting, the division will present an overview of the major changes made to the permit and will follow with a question-and-answer session. The agenda and meeting materials will be posted on the Non-Extractive Industrial Stormwater General Permit webpage. Please submit questions ahead of time using this form. We will also respond to questions during the meeting.
Please note that the division will soon send letters to some permittees requiring them to provide information on PFAS-containing materials at their facility. We will provide more information about this letter during the meeting.
